Farewell to Summer

Thank you for the gorgeous evenings and delightful sunsets we shared over a glass of Rose. The heat you have subjected me to has been quite distressing and the amounts of sunscreen I have had to use this summer are incredible but I am grateful for the new smile lines as it means that the happy times were abundant. I will miss your heat and longer daylight hours and the bounty you provided for my table, so, farewell my dear Summer as I great our Autumn friend.
